PokéPark Kanto to Debut Early 2026 as Franchise’s First Permanent Outdoor Theme Park

Overview

  • Themed areas—Pokémon Forest and Sedge Town—will span 26,000 square meters at Yomiuriland in Tokyo’s Tama Hills.
  • Pokémon Forest features 500-meter walking trails through varied terrains where visitors can observe Pokémon in natural settings.
  • Sedge Town will include life-sized Pokémon Center and PokéMart buildings, a Gym, a trainer’s market and daily parades.
  • Chief creative fellow Junichi Masuda confirmed the park will showcase over 600 Pokémon in displays that adapt to weather and seasons.
  • Advance ticket sales are slated for late 2025 ahead of the park’s spring 2026 opening.
