Pokémon UNITE Servers Will Shut Down in March 2027

Players must download a new Library to retain licenses and cosmetic items before servers close to preserve access after the service ends.

Overview

  • The Pokémon Company and TiMi Studio Group announced the game’s global servers will go offline on 23 March 2027, ending all online play and logins.
  • The operators stopped selling Aeos Gems on 27 October 2026 and have disabled new Unite Club sign-ups and auto‑renewals while allowing existing purchases to be used until service end or expiry.
  • A 12 November 2026 update will add a downloadable Library and a farewell event; players must save the Library data before 23 March 2027 because the files generally cannot be transferred or supported after shutdown.
  • The competitive schedule remains in place: the Pokémon UNITE Aeos Crown 2027 Tokyo event will proceed and its qualification rounds begin on 5 December 2026.
  • The global closure follows earlier regional shutdowns in Belgium and the Netherlands and the game’s removal from the 2027 World Championships list, a backdrop that affected availability and competitive prioritization for players.
