Pokémon TCG Pocket Announces Mythical Island Expansion with 80 New Cards

The digital card game will introduce powerful new cards, including Mew ex and Aerodactyl ex, on December 17, aiming to shake up the current meta.

The Mythical Island expansion will add over 80 new cards to Pokémon TCG Pocket, including five new Pokémon ex cards and five new Trainer cards.
Key additions include Mew ex, which can copy opponent moves with its Genome Hacking attack, and Aerodactyl ex, whose Primeval Law ability prevents opponents from evolving their Active Pokémon.
The expansion introduces new Supporter cards, such as Blue and Leaf, which offer tactical options like damage reduction and reduced retreat costs.
Players can earn Pack Hourglasses during a limited-time Holiday Countdown Campaign from December 16–19 to help unlock cards from the new set.
Pokémon TCG Pocket has surpassed 60 million downloads since its October launch, with the Mythical Island expansion set to debut on December 17.
