  • The Pokémon Company revealed paid DLC called Mega Dimension during the Sept. 12 Nintendo Direct, with eShop preorders live and its release listed as coming soon.
  • The expansion teases a Hoopa-led storyline featuring spatial distortions in Lumiose City and introduces two forms, Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y, each requiring a different Mega Stone.
  • In the base game, new Mega Evolutions for Chesnaught, Delphox, and Greninja are confirmed, but their Mega Stones are obtained as promotion rewards in the online Z-A Battle Club Ranked Battles.
  • Official materials note these starter Mega Stones cannot normally be obtained during regular gameplay, with plans to redistribute promotion rewards in future seasons.
