Pokémon GO's Dual Destiny Season Introduces New Pokémon and Features

The upcoming season, running from December 3 to March 4, will include Unova-themed events, dynamic biomes, and the possible return of Mythical Pokémon Hoopa.

Dual Destiny will run from December 3, 2024, to March 4, 2025, featuring new content inspired by Pokémon Sword and Shield as well as Pokémon Black and White.
Sinistea and Polteageist will debut, along with Gigantamax Lapras, Dynamax Machop, and Krabby in Max Battles, which continue to play a key role this season.
The teaser trailer hints at the return of Hoopa, a Mythical Pokémon last seen in 2022, though this has not been officially confirmed by Niantic.
Seasonal biomes will change dynamically, and the winter holiday map will return alongside a December Community Day event spanning December 21-22.
Unova-themed content includes preparations for the Pokémon GO Tour: Unova in 2025, with speculation about the availability of Black Kyurem and White Kyurem.
