Pokemon GO's Taken Treasures Event Introduces Varoom, Revavroom, and Shadow Kyogre

Trainers can participate in the event from January 27 to February 1, with opportunities to encounter new Pokemon and complete special research tasks for rewards.

Pokemon GO's Taken Treasures event is now live, featuring the debut of Varoom and Revavroom, the return of Team GO Rocket Takeover, and the introduction of Shadow Kyogre.
Taken Treasures event runs from Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 12:00 am local time to Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 11:59 pm local time.
Varoom and its evolved form Revavroom are available as a 12 km egg hatch during the event, and trainers can evolve Varoom into Revavroom with the help of 50 Varoom Candy.
Shadow Ho-Oh returns in 5-Star Shadow Raids, while Shadow Kyogre arrives as part of Giovanni's arsenal, with trainers needing to complete the Timeless Travels Special Research to encounter the GO Rocket Boss.
Trainers can purchase a US$5.00 ticket from the in-game shop to get their hands on the Taken Treasures Timed Research, with rewards including various in-game resources and an avatar pose.
