Pokemon Go to Launch Mega Heracross Raid Day and Bug Out Event

The events will feature the debut of Mega Heracross, special raids, and increased Bug-type Pokémon activity from April 12 to April 17.

Pokemon Go announces the debut of Mega Heracross during a special Raid Day event on April 13, 2024, as part of the larger Bug Out event running from April 12 to April 17.
Trainers can battle Mega Heracross in raids to earn encounters with regular Heracross and Mega Energy, with an increased chance to encounter Shiny Heracross.
Event attendees can receive up to five additional free Raid Passes and enjoy increased Remote Raid limits and other bonuses.
A $5 event ticket offers exclusive bonuses such as additional Raid Passes, increased chances for Rare Candy XL, and more XP and Stardust from Raid Battles.
The Bug Out event also features increased appearances of Bug-type Pokémon in the wild, special Field Research tasks, and Collection Challenges for additional Mega Energy.
