Pogacar Extends Giro Lead with Commanding Queen Stage Victory

The Slovenian cyclist now holds a nearly seven-minute advantage after conquering the race's toughest stage.

Tadej Pogacar won the 15th stage of the Giro d'Italia, adding significant time to his overall lead.
He finished 29 seconds ahead of Nairo Quintana and over two minutes ahead of Georg Steinhauser.
Pogacar's lead over his closest rival, Geraint Thomas, is now 6:41.
The 15th stage, known as the Queen stage, featured a 222 km route with over 5,000 meters of climbing.
With one week left in the race, Pogacar is on track to achieve a Giro-Tour double this year.
