Overview
- Podemos formally ruled out joint electoral lists with Sumar and told Izquierda Unida to decide whether to align with Podemos or stay with Sumar and the PSOE orbit.
 - Sumar said it will not field its own list in Extremadura and will actively support Unidas por Extremadura and candidate Irene de Miguel.
 - Izquierda Unida rejected Podemos’ ultimatum, insisting coalition arrangements are decided territorially by its membership and local leaderships.
 - Podemos scheduled an internal consultation for Nov. 6–10 to determine how it will contest upcoming regional elections.
 - The split leaves alliances unresolved in Andalucía and Castilla y León, with analysts warning that a divided left could advantage the PP and Vox and complicate PSOE’s coalition prospects.
