Po Live! at Universal Studios Florida to Close Starting October 3
Universal lists only a start date on its refurbishment calendar with no reopening timeline, reducing a key interactive option for families during the busy fall season.
Overview
- Universal confirmed that Po Live! in the Kung Fu Panda area of DreamWorks Land will temporarily close beginning October 3 with no end date listed on the resort’s refurbishment calendar.
- The attraction previously closed on May 18 for an extended refurbishment and reopened in early July before this new scheduled shutdown.
- Po Live! is an interactive show where guests speak with an animated Po on a digital screen rather than watching a prerecorded performance, making it a distinct daytime option for younger children.
- DreamWorks Land will remain open and other family attractions such as Trolls Trollercoaster and Poppy’s Playground will operate, but families will have one fewer interactive experience during a busy fall period that overlaps with Halloween events.
- The park has not explained what work will take place, and the repeat closure, along with earlier changes like the removal of Shrek-area sprinklers, may point to ongoing adjustments to the new land and potential maintenance needs for its interactive and water-based features.
