PNC Launches 30-Foot Mobile Branch in Birmingham With Biweekly Route

The service partners with community groups to deliver face-to-face banking in areas with fewer traditional branches.

  • The bright orange unit will visit city neighborhoods every other week on a rotating route serving 16 locations.

  • The route includes regular stops at Bundles of Hope every other Wednesday plus visits to Alabama Goodwill, The Dannon Project and Daniel Payne Legacy Village.
  • PNC describes the rollout as meeting residents where they live and work, extending a model used in Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Cleveland and Houston with financial-wellness programming through local partners.
