Overview
- Selection will include an online written test, a Local Language Proficiency Test where required, document screening, and a personal interview, with final merit based on combined marks.
 - The online exam carries negative marking of one‑fourth per wrong answer and requires minimum sectional scores of 40% for General/EWS and 35% for reserved categories.
 - Application fees are Rs 1,180 for most candidates and Rs 59 for SC/ST/PwBD applicants, payable through cards, net banking, IMPS, mobile wallets or UPI.
 - Vacancies are allotted state‑wise across India, including Maharashtra (135), Gujarat (95) and West Bengal (90), totaling 750 posts in JMGS‑I.
 - Selected Local Bank Officers will receive monthly pay in the range of Rs 48,480 to Rs 85,920.
