Overview
- The Prime Minister’s Office is scheduled to relocate from South Block to the Executive Enclave in early September.
- The Executive Enclave is fully prepared to host the PMO, Cabinet Secretariat and National Security Council Secretariat with modern conferencing facilities.
- Packing and staged transfers are underway across ministries, though key departments such as Finance have yet to begin relocating.
- The ministries of Home Affairs and Personnel have already moved into the newly inaugurated Kartavya Bhavan-3 with energy-efficient design and IT-enabled amenities.
- Once vacated, North and South Blocks will be converted into the Yuge Yugeen Bharat Sangrahalaya public museum under a cooperation agreement with France Museums Development.
