Overview
- PMD expects most of Pakistan to stay dry today, with rain and thunderstorms limited to northern and hilly zones including Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
- Scattered showers are forecast for northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa districts such as Dir, Swat, Chitral, Kohistan, Battagram and Shangla.
- Upper Punjab could see rain in Rawalpindi, Murree, Chakwal, Jhelum and Galiyat, with thunderstorms possible in Lahore, Sialkot, Gujrat, Wazirabad and Narowal.
- Islamabad is set for dry, partly cloudy conditions, while Balochistan and most of Sindh remain hot and dry with some cloud along the Makran coast.
- PMD urges caution for mountain travel due to sudden weather shifts and reduced visibility, with high-elevation snowfall possible in Gilgit-Baltistan and PDMA Punjab warning of a potential moderate flood on the Jhelum at Mangla as inflows rise.
