Overview
- The Pakistan Meteorological Department says most districts of Sindh will remain hot and humid over the next 24 hours with coastal areas turning partly cloudy and a risk of isolated drizzle.
- Karachi observations show temperatures around 27–28°C at night, current 28°C, humidity about 74%, southwest winds near 15 km/h and a daytime maximum expected between 32°C and 34°C.
- Inland districts recorded much higher maxima, with Dadu at 43°C and Nawabshah, Sukkur and Mohenjo Daro around 41°C, while Hyderabad Airport, Mithi and Thatta logged lower but still hot readings.
- Coastal Karachi may see occasional gusty southwest winds and brief light drizzle overnight or in the morning, offering only short relief because humidity will remain high during the day.
- The PMD data are used for short-term public advisories, so residents and outdoor workers in hot inland areas should take heat precautions while coastal communities should watch for gusty winds and brief wet conditions.
