PMD: Dry Day for Karachi as Morning Fog Reduces Visibility

A western disturbance entering Pakistan may trigger rain and snowfall in the north and west.

  • The Met Office recorded a minimum temperature of 14.5°C in Karachi and forecast cooler nights over the next 24 hours.
  • Visibility in parts of the city dropped to about three kilometres, and the PMD advised caution during early morning travel.
  • Daytime highs were reported differently by outlets, with ranges of 25–27°C or up to 30°C attributed to varying observation times and locations.
  • Humidity readings also diverged, with reports citing 79% in the morning in one account and 68% in another.
