Overview
- Most of Pakistan will remain cold and dry over the next 24 hours, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
- Upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and northwestern Balochistan are expected to see rain with wind and thunderstorms, with snowfall over hilly areas.
- Patchy fog is forecast during morning and night in parts of Punjab and upper Sindh, including Lahore, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Bahawalpur, Sukkur and Larkana.
- Islamabad will be partly cloudy and cold, while Murree and the Galiyat remain very cold with chances of evening or night rain and snow.
- Balochistan districts such as Quetta, Ziarat, Zhob, Qalat and Musakhel may receive rain, thunderstorms and snowfall, with showers expected farther south including Gwadar, Turbat and Kech.
