Overview
- Inaugural services launched Nov. 20–21 with the first leg from Indore to Ujjain flagged off at Bichholi Mardana Helipad and subsequent flights running as scheduled.
- The Ujjain–Omkareshwar leg operated on Nov. 21, completing the spiritual circuit in the Malwa–Nimar region soon after launch.
- Three circuits are active across the state: Bhopal–Madai–Pachmarhi for nature and heritage, Indore–Ujjain–Omkareshwar for spiritual travel, and Jabalpur–Bandhavgarh–Kanha for wildlife tourism.
- The Indore–Ujjain segment takes about 20 minutes with a published one‑way fare of ₹5,000, with helicopters carrying up to six passengers and operating Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
- Operations are being run by Fly Ola under the Union Civil Aviation Ministry and MP Tourism Board, with officials projecting time savings for pilgrims and tourists along with gains for local businesses.
