PM Modi to Mark 50th Visit to Varanasi with ₹3,884 Crore Development Push

The visit on April 11 will feature the launch of 44 multi-sector projects and cultural engagements across Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Varanasi on April 11, marking his 50th visit to his parliamentary constituency as PM, a historic milestone for any sitting Prime Minister.
During the visit, PM Modi will inaugurate or lay the foundation stone for 44 development projects worth ₹3,884 crore, spanning sectors like infrastructure, electricity, education, and cultural heritage.
Key projects include road connectivity improvements, new electricity substations, educational facilities, and upgrades to cultural and religious sites in Varanasi.
The visit will also include religious observances at the Guru Ji Maharaj Temple in Isagarh, Madhya Pradesh, and public meetings in both states.
Ahead of the visit, BJP leaders and workers launched a cleanliness campaign in Varanasi, emphasizing the symbolic and political significance of the event.
