  • PM Modi visited Smruti Mandir in Nagpur to honor RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, accompanied by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, and Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis.
  • The Prime Minister also paid tribute to Dr. BR Ambedkar at Deekshabhoomi, a site of historical significance where Ambedkar embraced Buddhism in 1956.
  • Modi laid the foundation stone for the Madhav Netralaya Premium Centre, a 250-bed hospital equipped with advanced medical facilities and research capabilities.
  • He inaugurated new defense facilities at Solar Defence and Aerospace Limited, including a UAV airstrip and a guided munitions testing range.
  • Extensive security arrangements were implemented for the visit, which precedes his scheduled trip to Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, to launch development projects worth over Rs 33,700 crore.
