PM Modi Launches ₹3,800 Crore Projects and Subhadra Scheme in Odisha
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates major development projects and a women-centric welfare scheme during his visit to Bhubaneswar.
- PM Modi laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various development projects worth ₹3,800 crore in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
- The Prime Minister launched the Subhadra Yojana, a flagship scheme aimed at empowering over 1 crore women with financial assistance.
- Under the Subhadra Yojana, eligible women aged 21-60 will receive ₹50,000 over five years, with the first tranche of ₹5,000 already distributed to over 25 lakh women.
- PM Modi also released the first installment of financial assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin (PMAY-G) to nearly 10 lakh beneficiaries across 14 states.
- In addition, Modi laid the foundation stones for railway projects worth ₹2,871 crore and national highway projects worth ₹1,000 crore to enhance connectivity and infrastructure in the region.
