PM Modi Inaugurates Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, Highlights India's Automotive Growth

Prime Minister Narendra Modi opened the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, India's largest automotive showcase, spanning three venues in Delhi and Greater Noida.
India's automotive sector has seen significant growth, with annual vehicle sales reaching 2.5 crore units and $36 billion in FDI attracted over the past four years.
The expo will feature over 100 new product launches, including electric vehicles like Maruti Suzuki's e Vitara SUV and Hyundai's Creta EV, as well as luxury EVs from Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
A strong emphasis is placed on green mobility, with EV sales in India growing from 2,600 units annually a decade ago to 16.8 lakh in 2024, and further growth projected by the end of the decade.
The event brings together 5,100 international participants and over 1,000 exhibitors, fostering collaboration across the global mobility value chain with a focus on innovation and sustainability.
