PM Modi Inaugurates Ayodhya Airport and Railway Station Ahead of Ram Temple Consecration
The inaugurations are part of multiple development projects worth over ₹15,700 crore in Uttar Pradesh, with special train services requested for devotees from Tripura.
- Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham and the redeveloped Ayodhya Dham Railway Station in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
- The airport and railway station are part of multiple development projects worth more than ₹15,700 crore in the state, with ₹11,100 crore allocated for the development of Ayodhya and its surrounding areas.
- PM Modi also inaugurated two new Amrit Bharat trains and six new Vande Bharat trains from Ayodhya Dham Station.
- The inauguration of these projects comes ahead of the 'pran pratishtha' or consecration ceremony of the Ram temple, scheduled to be held on 22 January.
- Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has requested special train services for approximately 2,000 devotees from Tripura to join the historic event.
