- Earlier in the day, Sitiveni Rabuka paid homage at Rajghat before the bilateral talks.
- Rabuka arrived on Sunday for a three- to four-day visit accompanied by his spouse, Sulueti Rabuka, and a high-level team including Health Minister Ratu Atonio Lalabalavu.
- He is scheduled to call on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan and to deliver an ICWA lecture titled “Ocean of Peace” on August 26.
- The visit builds on July’s India–Fiji Foreign Office Consultations in Suva, and the MEA said it is intended to further deepen the partnership across diverse sectors.
