PM Modi Flags Off Hisar-Ayodhya Flight, Launches ₹10,000 Crore Development Projects in Haryana

On Ambedkar Jayanti, the Prime Minister inaugurated air services from Hisar airport and laid the foundation for key infrastructure projects to enhance connectivity and economic growth.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the first commercial flight from Hisar to Ayodhya, marking a significant boost to regional aviation connectivity.
The foundation stone for a new terminal at Maharaja Agrasen Airport, Hisar, was laid, with a project cost exceeding ₹410 crore and completion targeted within two years.
Development initiatives worth ₹10,000 crore were launched in Haryana, including an 800 MW thermal power unit in Yamunanagar and a compressed biogas plant with an annual capacity of 2,600 metric tonnes.
The 14.4 km Rewari Bypass project under the Bharatmala Pariyojana was inaugurated to decongest Rewari city and reduce travel time between Delhi and Narnaul by an hour.
These projects, timed with Ambedkar Jayanti, aim to enhance Haryana’s infrastructure, energy security, and economic opportunities, aligning with the government’s broader developmental agenda.
