PM-Kisan 21st Installment on Nov. 19; Andhra Pradesh Adds ₹5,000 Top-Up

Overview

  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release ₹2,000 per eligible farmer via DBT from Coimbatore, with simultaneous credits across most states except Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and recent flood-hit regions that received funds earlier.
  • About nine crore farmers are expected to get roughly ₹18,000 crore in this tranche under the central income-support scheme.
  • Andhra Pradesh will augment the payout by ₹5,000 under Annadata Sukhibhava, taking the total to ₹7,000 for 46.62 lakh beneficiaries, with a ₹3,077.77 crore disbursal led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in Kamalapuram, YSR Kadapa district.
  • State allocations published by the Centre include ₹4,314.26 crore for over 2.15 crore farmers in Uttar Pradesh and ₹1,332 crore for 66.62 lakh farmers in Rajasthan, with state-level events planned.
  • e-KYC is mandatory and can be completed via Aadhaar OTP on the portal or app, biometric verification at CSCs/SSKs, or face authentication; farmers can check beneficiary status on pmkisan.gov.in.
