Overview

• The 20th installment of the PM Kisan scheme is slated for release between late June and early July 2025.
• Over 9.88 crore farmers stand to receive Rs 2,000 each directly into their bank accounts under the upcoming tranche.
• Completion of e-KYC on the PM-Kisan portal is now mandatory and beneficiaries without verification risk removal from the payment list.
• Farmers must ensure their Aadhaar is seeded with an active bank account and that their land records are verified by state revenue departments.
• Since its launch in 2019 the scheme has disbursed Rs 3.68 lakh crore across 19 installments, with the previous tranche released on February 24, 2025.
