- The 20th tranche, originally due in June, has been postponed until after July 14 when Prime Minister Modi returns and final disbursement approvals are expected
- Authorities have extended the compliance window for e-KYC and Aadhaar-bank linking following a high number of incomplete verifications
- Eligible farmers must complete e-KYC through OTP, biometric, or facial authentication at Common Service Centres to avoid exclusion
- Beneficiaries facing data mismatches or omissions can approach District Level Grievance Committees or use the online portal to resolve issues before payment
- Since its 2019 launch, the PM-Kisan scheme has distributed over Rs 3.5 lakh crore across 19 installments, providing Rs 6,000 annually in three Rs 2,000 transfers to cultivator families
