PM Internship Scheme Launches with Over 90,000 Opportunities Across India

The initiative aims to provide internships to one crore candidates in top companies over five years, starting December 2024.

The PM Internship Scheme, announced in the 2024 Union Budget, has begun registrations, offering over 90,800 internships from 193 companies.
Internships are available across 24 sectors, including oil and gas, travel, automotive, and banking, with top firms like Maruti Suzuki and Reliance Industries participating.
Eligible candidates aged 21-24 can apply online for internships lasting 12 months, with a stipend of ₹5,000 per month and a one-time grant of ₹6,000.
The scheme targets one crore internships over five years, with 1.25 lakh opportunities expected in the 2024-25 financial year.
Registration is open on the official portal, with no application fee, allowing applicants to choose from various roles based on their preferences and qualifications.
