Despite Mixed Reviews, Comedy Trio's 'The Treasure of Foggy Mountain' Gains Support from Industry Heavyweights

The comedy trio 'Please Don't Destroy', consisting of John Higgins, Ben Marshall, and Martin Herlihy, have released their first feature film 'The Treasure of Foggy Mountain' on Peacock.
The film, which was initially set for a theatrical release, follows the three friends on a search for a gold bust of Marie Antoinette worth $100 million.
The film has been compared to an extended episode of 'Workaholics', with the trio's dynamic and humor being likened to that of the Comedy Central series.
Despite the film being 'politely panned by critics', it has received support from comedy heavyweights such as Judd Apatow and Conan O’Brien, the latter of whom makes his first movie role playing a character that isn’t himself.
The film was shot primarily in North Carolina state parks during the sweltering summer, with director Paul Briganti describing the first week of filming as 'a miserable nightmare'.
