Overview
- The PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium catalog began rolling out on Tuesday, with most regions receiving the full October lineup as Sony staggers availability by territory.
- Key entries available now in many regions include Mycopunk (a day‑one/early‑access shooter), Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West, Dino Crisis 2 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3.
- Three Extra-tier games — Poppy Playtime: Chapter 2, Tales of Arise – Beyond the Dawn Edition and Monster Energy Supercross 25 — will reach subscribers in the US, UK and Japan in the next week while already live elsewhere.
- Mycopunk is the only true new release in the update and is drawing attention for its cooperative, early‑access pedigree and PC testing that showed strong co-op and procedural enemy mechanics.
- Premium adds classic ports to the Extra list and subscribers should note that some classic releases omit modern features such as trophies but include save‑state support, and PlayStation Store updates around noon local time affect when new additions appear for each region.
