Overview

• Home side Telugu Titans face Tamil Thalaivas in the curtain-raiser, followed by Bengaluru Bulls vs Puneri Paltan at the Vishwanadh Sports Club.
• After Visakhapatnam (Aug 29–Sept 11), the league stage moves to Jaipur (Sept 12–28), Chennai (Sept 29–Oct 10) and New Delhi (Oct 11–23), with the playoffs and final venue yet to be announced.
• Season 12 cuts the league schedule to 18 games per team, replaces ties with a Golden Raid shootout, switches to two points for a win and revamps the playoff path.
• PKL staged a grand launch at Novotel Varun Beach with league chairman Anupam Goswami, Telugu Titans captain Vijay Malik, Tamil Thalaivas captain Pawan Sehrawat and the other team captains.
• The 12 captains visited the INS Kursura submarine to honor the armed forces, with services players Devank, Naveen and Bharat taking part in a special activation.
