• Google confirmed the feature for Pixel 10, 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL to place and receive WhatsApp calls when no mobile or Wi‑Fi service is available.
• Availability begins Aug. 28, initially limited to Pixel 10 models, with broader support contingent on Android 16 adoption by other manufacturers and partner agreements.
• Google cautions that satellite links must be used outdoors with a clear view of the sky, may be delayed or unavailable, and could incur additional fees with only participating providers supported.
