Overview
- Leaked details suggest Google will unveil four models—Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL and Pixel 10 Pro Fold—on August 20 with pre-orders to start immediately and deliveries from August 28.
- The phones are expected to run Android 16 on a Tensor G5 chipset built on TSMC’s 3nm node, paired with 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage.
- The standard Pixel 10 is tipped to feature a 6.3-inch Full HD+ 120Hz display protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and HDR brightness up to 2,000 nits while Pro models may reach 2,250 nits and employ higher-frequency PWM dimming to reduce screen flicker.
- A larger 4,970mAh battery will support 29W wired and 15W Qi2 wireless charging but the new models are not expected to include Wi-Fi 7 or vapor chamber cooling.
- Camera upgrades include a 48MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide and a new 10.8MP 5x telephoto lens, a configuration that may divide opinions among photography enthusiasts accustomed to higher-resolution ultrawide sensors.
