Pixar Unveils New Trailer for Upcoming Sci-Fi Comedy 'Elio'

Set for release on June 13, 2025, the film follows an imaginative boy mistaken as Earth's ambassador in an intergalactic adventure.

The newly released trailer highlights the story of Elio, an 11-year-old boy who is mistakenly identified as Earth's leader after being beamed into space by aliens.
The film features a vibrant intergalactic setting with unique alien designs and a nostalgic tone reminiscent of 1980s sci-fi classics.
Directed by Madeline Sharafian and Domee Shi, the project underwent significant reworking after Adrian Molina, the original director, was replaced mid-production.
The voice cast includes Yonas Kibreab as Elio, Zoe Saldaña as Aunt Olga, and other notable actors such as Brad Garrett and Jameela Jamil.
Originally scheduled for March 2024, the release was delayed to June 2025 due to production challenges and the SAG-AFTRA strike.
