• Gatto, directed by Enrico Casarosa, is set for summer 2027 and will employ a painterly animation style to follow Nero, a black cat in Venice who befriends a lonely street musician.
• Toy Story 5 is slated for June 19, 2026, and will see Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack return as the toys confront a new Lillypad tech tablet in a digital-first play world.
• Pixar previewed Elio ahead of its June 20, 2025 theatrical release, introducing the interstellar adventure of 11-year-old Elio Solis as Earth’s accidental ambassador.
• Chief creative officer Pete Docter was inducted into Annecy’s Walk of Fame as he presented exclusive first looks at Pixar’s upcoming features.
• The studio also offered an early glimpse of Hoppers, an original comedy about a mind-swapping experiment that transports a young woman’s consciousness into a robot beaver.
