  • The film develops a toys-versus-technology conflict through the introduction of Lily Pad, a sentient tablet that encourages Bonnie to move on from her traditional playthings.
  • Sheriff Jessie leads Bonnie’s room with Buzz Lightyear as her deputy while Woody remains on his own adventures helping lost toys alongside Bo Peep.
  • Andrew Stanton directs the sequel alongside co-director McKenna Harris with Jessica Choi producing and Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack returning to their iconic roles.
  • New cast additions include Ernie Hudson as Combat Carl and Conan O’Brien as Smarty Pants and Toy Story 5 is slated to hit theaters on June 19, 2026.
