Pius Paschke Secures Third Place at Wisla Ski Jumping World Cup

The German ski jumper returns to the podium, continuing his strong season as teammates show improving form.

Pius Paschke finished third at the Ski Jumping World Cup event in Wisla, Poland, with two jumps of 127 meters.
The 34-year-old was outperformed only by Austria's Daniel Tschofenig, who achieved his first World Cup win, and Switzerland's Gregor Deschwanden.
Paschke has been consistently strong this season, with podium finishes in all but one event, including two victories.
German head coach Stefan Horngacher praised Paschke's performance and noted the improving form of the rest of the team.
Andreas Wellinger, despite making it to the second round, placed 22nd, falling short of expectations after an inconsistent first jump.
