Overview
- Pittsburgh Public Schools, which confirmed Thursday it is leasing four school lots for the NFL Draft, is also weighing two more sites.
- The current locations are Allegheny Traditional Academy, King, Conroy, and Manchester on the North Side.
- ParkWiz lists a three-day pass at Allegheny for $169, and a CBS search found single-day rates as high as about $454 at other nearby school lots.
- The district set remote learning for the draft week because of road closures and safety concerns, which frees the lots for paid parking.
- The NFL Draft runs April 23–25, and the district says all parking revenue it receives will support its general fund.
