Pirates Prospect Quinn Priester to Make MLB Debut Monday Against Cleveland

Pirates first-round pick in 2019, Quinn Priester, will make his MLB debut as a starting pitcher on Monday against the Cleveland Guardians.
Priester was ranked as the Pirates' top pitching prospect before the draft of LSU's Paul Skenes as the first overall pick this month.
In Triple-A this season, the 22-year-old Priester has a 7-3 record with a 4.31 ERA, 84 strikeouts, and 35 walks in 87 2/3 innings pitched.
The Pirates manager believes Priester has earned this opportunity after showing improvement at the Triple-A level.
