Lawrence Turman, who produced the acclaimed film 'The Graduate,' died at the age of 96.
Over his 50-year career, Turman produced over 30 films and served as director of USC's Peter Stark Producing program.
Turman's films include 'The Great White Hope,' 'The Thing,' and 'American History X.'
He formed a production company with David Foster in 1974 that produced many notable films.
Turman was known for believing in writers and maintaining friendships with talents like William Goldman.
