• Users can reduce AI-generated images by category—such as art, architecture, beauty, fashion, home decor, entertainment, health and sport—via Settings under Refine your recommendations.
• The controls are available now on desktop and Android, with an iOS rollout expected in the coming weeks.
• The feature applies only to eligible image Pins and does not affect AI-generated video.
• Pinterest is ramping up AI detection and will make labels more noticeable, expanding on its May rollout of “AI modified” tags.
• People can provide feedback on AI imagery from the three-dot menu on Pins to help fine-tune their recommendations.
