Overview
- The name Tensei, meaning “rebirth,” is now confirmed as Pininfarina and JAS released clearer images following a private client showing at Fuji Speedway in November.
- The design retains hallmark NSX cues such as pop-up headlights, the black canopy and bridge spoiler, while adopting a full carbon-fibre body, wider stance, modern LED lighting and revised aero.
- JAS Motorsport will build an ultra-limited run in Milan using donor NA1/NA2 NSX cars, with left- or right-hand-drive configurations expected.
- The car keeps a naturally aspirated Honda V6 and six-speed manual, with JAS citing competition-derived engineering for the reworked chassis and powertrain.
- Development prototypes are underway, and detailed outputs, pricing and total production volume remain undisclosed ahead of the public reveal.
