Overview
- RCMP said they were alerted just after 5 p.m. Wednesday to a bush plane down near Lillooet Airport in British Columbia.
 - Emergency responders pulled the pilot from the aircraft unconscious, and the pilot was pronounced dead at the scene.
 - B.C. Emergency Health Services reported multiple ambulances and a helicopter responded, and no patients were transported to hospital.
 - The Transportation Safety Board identified the aircraft as a privately registered Bushmaster Super 22.
 - The crash site was near the north end of the runway, and the safety board said a team of investigators will attend.
