Pilot Dies in Small Plane Crash in Baden-Württemberg Forest

A twin-engine small plane crashed into a forest near Geisingen in the Tuttlingen district of Baden-Württemberg on Monday evening.
The pilot, the only person aboard, was found deceased; authorities are working to confirm their identity.
The plane was reported missing around 6 PM and was later located through radar in a large wooded area southwest of Geisingen.
The aircraft had departed from Bolzano, Italy, and was headed to Donaueschingen; adverse weather conditions, including heavy fog, were reported at the time.
The wreckage recovery and autopsy are pending until investigations by the Federal Bureau of Aircraft Accident Investigation (BFU) are completed.
