Overview

  • Affected items include Pieminister’s Moo, Kate & Sidney, Deer & Beer, Fungi Chicken and other pies labelled with a use-by date of June 24, 2026 rather than 2025.
  • Pieminister said all recalled pies were freshly produced at its Bristol bakery and are safe to eat until their intended expiry on June 24, 2025.
  • The Food Standards Agency issued a safety alert on June 14, 2025, confirming the recall and warning that misdated products should not be consumed past the correct date.
  • Customers have been advised to return any of the affected pies to their point of purchase for a full refund.
  • The company apologised for the technical labelling fault and has introduced extra quality checks to prevent a repeat of the error.
