- The Food Standards Agency alerted Pieminister to a labelling fault that showed a 2026 expiry instead of the correct June 24, 2025 date
- Affected pies including Moo, Kate & Sidney, Deer & Beer and Fungi Chicken varieties were baked at Pieminister’s Bristol facility
- The recall spans stock sold in Tesco, Asda, Waitrose, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Ocado and Lidl outlets across the UK
- Pieminister has apologised for the technical issue and added extra quality controls to its packaging process
- Consumers should not eat the pies past June 24, 2025 and can return them to the original point of purchase or contact customer service for a refund
