Overview

• The crash occurred at approximately 6:15 a.m. when a Dodge pickup struck a home on the 600 block of East Marquette Road in Woodlawn.
• A 12-year-old boy was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital and two men, ages 26 and 28, to St. Bernard Hospital, all in good condition.
• The woman driving the truck sustained minor injuries, was treated at the iversity of ChChicago Medical Center, issued three citations and remains in custody.
• Chicago Police are investigating the cause of the crash and assessing structural damage to the residence.
• A dog inside the building was killed in the collision.
