Overview

  • The wildfire began shortly before 3 p.m. near the 2300 block of Pickett Road just outside Calistoga, according to Cal Fire.
  • Mandatory evacuation orders cover zones NPA-E114, NPA-E120 and NPA-E121-B, with five additional zones under evacuation warnings.
  • Cal Fire reports roughly 2,133 acres burned with 0% containment and about 350 personnel using engines, hand crews, dozers, water tenders and night‑flying helicopters.
  • The Bay Area Air Quality Management District issued an advisory for smoke impacts in Napa, Sonoma and Solano counties through Friday.
  • Shelters have been activated, including Crosswalk Community Church in Napa, the cause remains under investigation and officials reported no injuries or destroyed homes.
