Overview
- A Combined Joint Forcible Entry Operation at San Vicente’s Long Beach simulated an amphibious landing and airfield seizure with coordinated naval gunfire and close air support.
- Air and sea assets included RAAF EA-18G Growlers, Philippine FA-50s, US Marine Corps MV-22 Ospreys, PAF Black Hawks, and a joint sail by BRP Jose Rizal, HMAS Brisbane, and HMCS Ville de Québec.
- About 3,600 personnel are participating from the AFP, ADF, United States Marine Corps and al CanCanadian Navy, with observers from Japan, South Korea, New Zealand and Indonesia.
- A separate maritime cooperative activity in the West Philippine Sea conducted helicopter cross-deck landings, personnel transfers and ship-to-ship drills west-southwest of El Nido.
- The exercise runs Aug. 15–29, with a major live-fire event scheduled for Aug. 27 at Fort Magsaysay in Nueva Ecija.
